The Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry is working on the National Energy Efficiency Master Plan and a study has been commissioned to restructure and realign the electricity sector. DPM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the National Green Technology Action Plan to be proposed soon would streamline all the plans to create a holistic and sustainable approach to the country's national economic development. The private sector has invested more than RM4bn in the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) related projects, since its launch two years ago. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said in addition, another RM20bn worth of investments are in the planning stage with some initiatives having been highlighted in the Budget 2010. (Bernama)
